Day in the life of a marketing student!
Here we go! Let me take you through a day in my life (11th of December) as a marketing student. Side note: It was the second-to-last week before exam prep begins, so my days were mainly spent rewatching lectures, completing notes, and starting to study. Nothing too spectacular, but it gives you a glimpse of how I'm gearing up for exams.
My day started with a bowl of yogurt topped with honey and blueberries (my latest obsession, by the way). This week, I had a presentation for my Marketing Analytics course, so I spent some time practicing my script while still cozy in bed. After that, it was time for my weekly grocery run. Luckily, there's a supermarket right across the street, so it's just a short walk—even with heavy bags. Once home, I unloaded everything straight into the fridge.
In between, I rewatched one last lecture to finalize my summary, and before I knew it, it was already time for lunch. During my lunch break, I took a moment to read a book—a much-needed form of relaxation during these hectic weeks, far better than mindlessly scrolling on my phone.
Later that night, I wrapped up my day by watching a series to relax before heading to bed. It was a simple but productive day, setting the stage for the exam grind ahead!
After lunch, I headed to the library to work on group projects and start studying. The library has been packed lately, and seeing everyone so focused gives me an extra boost of motivation to stay productive. In the evening, as a break, I went to McDonald's with my sister—it's not far from the library, so the walk was a perfect way to get some fresh air.
I wish everyone the best of luck with their exams and would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in advance!
Marketing girlie,
Astrid
